This full-time, day-shift role focuses on delivering attentive support to patients and assisting nursing staff in maintaining a safe, comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient admissions, including orientation to unit routines and care equipment.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, providing direct assistance or communicating requirements to appropriate personnel.
• Support the nursing care plan by performing delegated patient care tasks.
• Maintain patient safety through proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Manage and replenish supplies in medication and supply rooms for patient care use.
• Ensure a clean, well-stocked patient environment.
• Participate actively in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.
• Engage in educational and performance improvement activities.
• Perform waived testing and maintain required skills per unit competency.
• Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction, patient flow, and operational efficiency.

Education and Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Current registration with the appropriate state nursing assistant registry.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Experience and Skills:

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Strong guest relations and communication skills.
• Ability to read and write English effectively.
• Flexibility in work tasks and schedules.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Understanding of age-specific patient care considerations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work variable shifts including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Capability to turn and lift patients safely.
• Visual and auditory acuity to observe patient conditions.
