ComResource is looking for a Senior Data Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems.
- Build high-performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes.
- Ensure that all systems meet business requirements as well as industry best practices.
- Integrate emerging data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.
- Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
- Create custom software components and analytics applications.
- Research new uses for existing data.
- Employ a variety of technological languages and tools to connect systems together.
- Collaborate with team members including data architects, IT team members, and data scientists on project goals.
- Install and update disaster recovery procedures.
- Recommend ways to continuously improve data reliability and quality.
Essentials:
- Technical degree or related work experience.
- Experience with non-relational and relational databases including SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, and MongoDB.
- Experience programming and/or architecting a backend language such as Java or J2EE.
