(USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices. What you’ll do Operate forklift following Company standards and guidelines by safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets. Complete work assignments and prioritize using policies, data, and resources, and collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carry out tasks, communicate progress, and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities and adapt to change. Receive stocks and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers throughout the facility by managing inventory flow, following company policy, using equipment appropriately, merchandising inventory, correcting shelf capacities, and completing required paperwork. Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs, providing guidance and support, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting the company’s products and services. Maintain facility safety according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management. Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly zoning the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out‑of‑date goods, setting up, cleaning and organizing product displays, maintaining modular integrity, receiving, sorting, staging and delivering merchandise, ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal items, processing defective merchandise, following sanitation and food safety regulations, and monitoring shrink security risks. Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with picking, staging, and conducting audits for accuracy, guaranteeing products are selected and staged according to company policy, and that Merchandising Associates complete orders within acceptable timeframes. Handle inventory movements and displays safely, maintain insta‑stock levels, control shrinkage, report poor inventory practices, and use inventory tools safely. Operate and maintain forklifts safely, report unsafe conditions or practices, and alert Management when forklifts are not in proper working order. Proactively identify customers who need help, engage them, assist with technology services and items, model technology services, identify shrink opportunities and problems, and fix issues promptly. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Minimum Qualifications 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification and ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
