Our client is seeking a Senior Associate to join its financial services search team, with a focus on front office hiring. This person will execute searches across investment banking, global markets, hedge funds, asset management, and private markets, partnering with senior colleagues and clients to identify and attract hard-to-reach talent.

The ideal candidate has 3-7 years of relevant recruiting experience and combines strong research skills with sound judgment, clear communication, and a genuine interest in financial markets. They can build credibility with candidates, manage several searches at once, and turn complex client requirements into a focused search strategy.

Essential Responsibilities

• Manage the search process from market mapping and sourcing through candidate assessment, interviews, offers, and close.

• Recruit front office professionals across areas such as investment banking, sales and trading, portfolio management, quantitative investing, and private markets.

• Partner with clients and senior team members to define position requirements, target firms, search strategy, and assessment criteria.
\n
• Build relationships with passive candidates and maintain a strong network across buy-side and sell-side firms.
\n
• Develop targeted outreach that speaks to each candidate’s experience and career motivations.
\n
• Present well-researched candidate profiles and clear market feedback to clients.
\n
• Keep searches moving by managing timelines, communication, and potential sticking points.
\n
• Contribute to market intelligence, client development, and the mentoring of junior team members.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in financial services recruitment or executive search, with meaningful exposure to front office roles.
\n
• A track record of delivering specialized searches and engaging passive candidates.
\n
• Working knowledge of the firms, functions, and talent pools within at least one front office market.
\n
• Strong research, written communication, and candidate assessment skills.
\n
• Confidence building rapport with senior candidates and client stakeholders.
\n
• The ability to manage multiple searches while maintaining accuracy and a high standard of service.
