Desired Experience and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience or strong interest in pediatric populations within an educational environment
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement effective, customized therapy plans for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other staff to support student success
- Deliver direct therapy sessions, monitor progress, and update treatment goals regularly
- Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
