Adorn Bar showcases craft cocktails and a wine list that sparks conversation, all with a lively, convivial vibe beckoning to be discovered.About the role The Director of Entertainment & Sports works closely with Director of Sales & Commercial Director in achieving group sales team goals, while responsible for achieving individual sales targets based on assigned territory. The Director of Entertainment & Sports is accountable for ensuring quotas and goals are met and to ensure that direct sales activities are focused on generating the highest possible RevPar for the overall hotel’s success. You will be responsible for business generation, promoting and selling the hotel with specific focus on Group Entertainment & Sports segments in accordance with the goals and strategies outlined in the Marketing Plan and in concert with WSO’s efforts. Responsibilities include: generate hotel awareness through direct phone sales, e-mail, social media, and direct sales calls; participation in tradeshows and networking groups; work closely with Sales and Marketing team to confirm individual business required to meet budgeted sales goals. This position requires a high degree of independent judgement and discretion on decision making. Performs and follows up on all extra tasks, actions and responsibilities assigned by the Directors of Sales and Directors of Marketing. Has the ability to be a Public Ambassador for Four Seasons Hotels. This position is hotel based. What you will do Prospect & solicit new & repeat business for assigned territory: Entertainment, Production, Middle East, and Sports markets Respond promptly to business inquiries and qualify leads to maximize group room nights, catering revenue, and overall RevPAR performance Negotiate, prepare, and finalize group contracts that support the Hotel’s revenue objectives and commercial strategy to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue Secures proper handover to Conference Services Utilize Various Prospecting Resources to solicit and secure business including outside sales calls, prospecting calls, site inspections, and client entertainment Serve as the on-site representative for remote Sales Managers by conducting all in-person site inspections. Assist DOS & CD on team dynamics, engagement, and drive for group team achievement Business Travel as needed to develop client relationships, representing the hotel in a professional manner Use company wide programs, sales developments, prospecting projects, WSO customer events and reporting for group business development Assist with budget setting, marketing plan, presentations, strategies, employee reviews, and overall department representation internally What you bring Minimum 5 years as Group Sales Manager in previous role Previous experience in Luxury Hotels with focus on Entertainment and/or Sports markets Ability to work and make decisions independently in the best interest of the hotel Ability to mentor team members to make highest level of achievement Exceptional interpersonal dynamics to create relationships externally & internally Driven, competitive, & focused sales person Proficiency with Delphi/Golden S&C and a commitment to maintaining high-quality CRM data and sales reporting Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic planning abilities with exceptional attention to detail Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and relevant sales systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and thrive in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment What we offer:  Compensation: $100,000 - $112,000 Quarterly Incentive Energizing Employee Culture where you are encouraged to be your true self!
