We specialize in caring for many heart conditions, including AFib, congestive heart failure, structural heart and valve care, peripheral artery disease, and coronary artery blockages. 25195 Kelly Rd Suite A Roseville, MI 48066 Under the direction of a Radiologist, this technologist specializes in the performance of diagnostic ultrasound procedures to aid in the evaluation of pathological entities as prescribed by a physician. Performs related functions according to department protocols. Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate imaging techniques, patient positioning, and safety practices. This position will focus on a part-time vascular ultrasound tech. The desired person will be a team player that goes above and beyond for the practice, with good communication, and the ability to perform all vascular testing for cardiology and perform venous ablations. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required. Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or be an eligible candidate to sit for an ARDMS examination. If eligible, successful completion of SPI, Abdomen, and OB/GYN ARDMS examinations is required within 12 months of the date of hire. Failure to obtain registry within the designated timeframe will result in termination of the Ultrasound Technologist position. Must maintain required hours of continued medical education. Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).
