We believe in bold thinking, trusted partnerships, and insights that lead to action.The IT Asset Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle management of all hardware and software assets across the organization. This role ensures accurate inventory tracking, cost-effective procurement, license compliance, and proper disposition of IT assets in alignment with company policies and industry best practices. The IT Asset Manager works closely with the IT team, finance, and end users to maintain a reliable and up-to-date asset management program.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a comprehensive, accurate inventory of all hardware and software assets across the organizationTrack the full lifecycle of IT assets from procurement through retirement and disposalCoordinate hardware procurement in collaboration with IT leadership and finance, ensuring cost-effective purchasingProcess and document equipment assignments, transfers, and returns for onboarding and offboarding employeesDevelop and enforce IT asset management policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Conduct regular physical audits of IT assets to reconcile inventory recordsManage relationships with hardware and software vendors, including maintenance contracts and renewalsGenerate and maintain asset management reports and dashboards for IT leadershipOversee the secure and compliant disposal or recycling of retired IT equipmentEvaluate and implement improvements to the asset management system and toolingCollaborate with the Help Desk team to ensure timely provisioning and deprovisioning of assetsSupport budget planning by providing asset cost, lifecycle, and refresh cycle dataQualifications & Skills2+ years of experience in IT asset management or a related IT operations roleHands-on experience with IT asset management (ITAM) tools and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or similar)Strong understanding of hardware and software asset lifecycle managementFamiliarity with software license compliance, vendor contracts, and procurement processesExperience conducting physical and virtual asset auditsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentLocation: Dallas, TX – On-site.
