Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, utilizing established criteria to chart appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on each client’s unique needs and circumstances.

• Regularly meet with clients to provide counseling, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their progress and feedback.

You will work with a varied client base that includes individuals dealing with emotional and relational challenges, as well as those experiencing mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and addiction. Qualifications\n

• Possession of a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• Specialized training or significant experience in addiction counseling is preferred to adequately support clients facing substance abuse issues.

• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance use and co-occurring disorders, enhancing your effectiveness as a therapist.

• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, with a proven ability to engage and motivate clients towards achieving their treatment goals.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a similar role, preferably within an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
