Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Personal Injury Legal Assistant for a respected, full-service law firm with a strong presence throughout New England. This is a fully onsite opportunity based in Dover, New Hampshire. POSITION OVERVIEW: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Personal Injury Legal Assistant to support a busy team of trial attorneys handling plaintiff personal injury matters in both state and federal courts. This role is ideal for a legal professional who enjoys managing litigation files, working closely with attorneys and paralegals, and delivering exceptional client service throughout the litigation process. PERKS: Competitive compensation ranging from $52,000–$70,000, with flexibility for highly experienced candidates Opportunity to join one of New England's largest and most respected law firms with long-term career growth potential Collaborative, team-oriented culture that values professional development, community involvement, and employee success Stable, full-time onsite position with life flexibility when weather or emergency office closures occur Fast interview process with direct access to hiring attorneys and leadership RESPONSIBILITIES: Support attorneys throughout all phases of plaintiff personal injury litigation, including preparing correspondence, pleadings, motions, objections, and case materials Manage personal injury case files, coordinate discovery, organize medical records, and prepare medical evidence for hearings and trial File and serve legal documents in state and federal courts while ensuring compliance with court rules, deadlines, and electronic filing requirements Communicate professionally with clients, claims adjusters, court personnel, opposing counsel, and medical providers while maintaining exceptional client service Coordinate attorney calendars, court appearances, permanent impairment evaluations, and litigation deadlines while maintaining organized case files Provide administrative and litigation support while collaborating with attorneys and paralegals to ensure cases progress efficiently QUALIFICATIONS: 1–3+ years of legal assistant experience, with personal injury experience strongly preferred Experience managing plaintiff personal injury files, medical records, claims adjuster communications, and litigation support Knowledge of state and federal court procedures, discovery processes, litigation deadlines, and electronic filing systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, and legal case management systems; Filevine experience is a plus Strong organizational, proofreading, communication, and multitasking skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: This opportunity offers competitive compensation ranging from $52,000–$58,000 depending on experience, with flexibility for exceptional candidates, along with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to join a collaborative, growing law firm committed to employee success and professional development.
