Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the dealership service department. Lead, coach, and develop service advisors, technicians, dispatchers, and support staff. Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and service department profitability. Monitor and improve key performance indicators including labor sales, gross profit, effective labor rate, technician productivity, proficiency, and efficiency. Maintain strong CSI and manufacturer performance standards. Ensure repair orders are managed accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with parts, sales, and executive leadership teams to achieve dealership objectives. Recruit, train, and retain top service department talent. Implement processes that improve workflow, customer experience, and department performance. Maintain compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer requirements, and safety standards. Qualifications Previous automotive service management experience required. Proven leadership experience within a dealership service department. Strong understanding of fixed operations performance metrics. Demonstrated success improving profitability, technician retention, and customer satisfaction. Experience managing service advisors, technicians, and department workflow. Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills. Experience with dealership management systems such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, Tekion, or similar platforms. Valid driver's license required. Preferred Experience Experience with domestic, import, luxury, hybrid, diesel, and EV brands is welcomed.
