THE JOB:

As a Gourmet Vendeur for Patisserie at Bellagio , you will immerse guests in the elegant, artisanal charm of our world-renowned European-style cafe by serving as a warm and welcoming ambassador. Going far beyond seamlessly preparing and serving exquisite, handcrafted coffees, delicate pastries, and gourmet treats, you will use your intuitive hospitality to understand the unique stories and preferences of every visitor. By collaborating with your team to maintain a beautifully vibrant, pristine display and delivering personalized service with a genuine smile, you will take ownership of the guest journey, transforming a simple cafe visit into an unforgettable, "WOW" memory that perfectly reflects our spectacular premier standards.

THE STARTING RATE: $16.711 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Exhibit proper knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of all items on the menu
• Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees
• Take and input orders into micros, receive payment and make proper change, complete required transactions, and categorize tendered receipts by media type
• Prepare and serve food and beverage items to guest as necessary
• Refill viennoiserie, pastries, gelatos, ice coolers, reach in beverage coolers, reach in pantry coolers and condiment drawer
• Be aware of expiration date for cookies and other confectionery
• Maintain the cleanliness and the appearance of the front, dining, back and all storage areas
• Use and clean equipment such as juicer, coffee maker, toaster, panini machine, blender, soda machine, oven and steamer
• Unload warehouse order and stock the order in designated storage

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
• 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced restaurant environment required
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• Must be 21 years of age or older
