Choose Your PathCNC Mill Operators — 1st & 2nd Shift | $20–$30/hr- Keep CNC milling machines running smoothly and consistently to hit production goals.
- Measure parts, verify tolerances, and course-correct when needed.
- Leverage blueprint reading to maintain quality from first article to final piece.
- Own setups: select tooling, load programs, touch off tools, dial in offsets, and run prove-outs.
- Coordinate with operators to hand off stable, repeatable processes.
- Use your machining judgment to optimize feeds, speeds, and cycle times.
- Run or set up Swiss-style CNC equipment to produce tight-tolerance components.
- Perform in-process inspection and maintain part integrity throughout the run.
- Apply your experience with Swiss machines to minimize downtime and scrap.
- Inspect precision parts using calipers, micrometers, and other gauges.
- Interpret blueprints and verify dimensions to spec.
- Document results and collaborate with machining teams to resolve issues quickly.
