Quality Control Inspector

Camtronics, a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, a NYSE-traded company (NYSE-HEI) is seeking a Quality Control Inspector. The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for conducting visual and mechanical inspections on aerospace components in accordance with inspection procedures. This position is Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Inspects/tests finished products, products being processed, incoming parts, and assemblies for conformance to company standards. Utilize drawings, work orders, specifications and other pertinent information to assess conformance to requirements. Perform internal audits. Communicate pertinent information through reports, emails and in-person discussion. Requirements Five years of quality experience using mechanical measuring equipment, performing visual inspection, first article inspections and some electrical testing experience required. Proficiency in the use of hand inspection equipment to inspect precision machined parts required. Capable of interpreting drawings and specifications and performing detailed inspections in accordance with specifications and quality procedures. Aviation experience preferred. Background working in an AS/ISO environment a plus. Experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to analyze and identify trends inspection data. Ability to communicate with internal Team Members and external customers in a professional manner. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear; and occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Team Member may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. May be exposed to loud noises.
