Painter's Assistant

Omega Paint & Body, a division of Nelson Mazda Tulsa, is hiring for a Painter's Assistant! Schedule The Painter’s Assistant will report no later than 8:00 am daily, Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturday shifts may be required. During summer a start as early as 5:30 am is expected to beat the heat, and a later start may occur in winter as temperature and daylight permit. Compensation The starting rate for this position is $15 per hour. Responsibilities Support the on‑lot Painter in any required capacity. Prep cars for paint including washing, cleaning, sanding, and taping. Move cars back and forth between the paint area and the lot. Fill supplies on the paint trailer and communicate when supplies are low. Assist the Sales and Service team in correcting paint issues for customers. Clean and maintain tools and equipment daily. Remove trash daily and maintain overall upkeep. Communicate daily with the Nelson Inventory team regarding car reconditioning orders.
