Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a dedicated Social Worker for the 2026-2027 school year, providing vital support to students in a nurturing educational environment. This full-time contract position runs from ASAP through June 2027 and offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children from kindergarten through high school. With three openings, you’ll work alongside passionate colleagues, focusing on K-4, K-2, or K-12 cases, each with a blend of emotional and academic support (ES/AS) needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Social Worker licensure for schools
• Previous experience working in educational settings (K-12 preferred)
• Strong ability to handle various student needs, including emotional and academic support
• Excellent communication skills to engage students, staff, and families
• Proven capability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate, organized, and adaptable approach to student care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and case management to assigned student groups
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention strategies tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student well-being and academic success
• Advocate for students by connecting them and their families with community resources and support services
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs
