Mechanical Engineer II (Onsite)

Mechanical Engineer Position located at 800 E Hermans Rd, Tucson, AZ (US-AZ-TUCSON-800), U.S. based. The role is onsite and requires U.S. citizenship and a transferable DoD Secret clearance. Responsibilities Perform mechanical design, structural and thermal analysis, and design documentation for hardware systems. Collaborate with a dynamic team to support product development, including part and drawing creation, release, and incorporation of drawing changes. Apply mechanical engineering expertise to creatively solve complex design challenges efficiently, making sound, data‑driven, and technical decisions. Provide support to factory, field, production, and suppliers both domestically and internationally. Collaborate with mechanical engineers, designers, structural and thermal analysts, and engineers from other disciplines. Qualifications Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field. Experience using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software such as Creo or equivalent. Prior engineering project experience or internship demonstrating practical application of engineering principles. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Product Data Management (PDM). Experience with electronics packaging, radar antenna design, aerospace engineering, or precision systems. Experience applying standard mechanical engineering design processes and adapting workflows for project requirements. Experience collaborating within a team to achieve project objectives. Salary 68,900 USD – 131,100 USD per year, based on experience and qualification.
