Haynes Furniture Company is looking for a dependable, hands-on Operations Lead professional to help drive the day-to-day success of our warehouse and store logistics. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading by example, staying organized, and ensuring merchandise moves safely and efficiently from receiving to customer delivery.

As an Operations Lead, you will play a critical role in coordinating workflow, supporting inventory accuracy, and ensuring our customers receive exceptional service.
What You'll Do

In this role, you will help oversee daily operational activities while supporting both the warehouse and showroom teams. Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating daily workflow and assigning tasks to team members based on operational needs
• Ensuring merchandise is safely received, stored, moved, and prepared for delivery or customer pickup
• Managing pull lists and ensuring orders are accurate and ready on time
• Verifying merchandise condition, documentation, and payment status prior to release
• Supporting inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution
• Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the facility
• Assisting customers and team members with locating and verifying products
• Communicating priorities and updates with store and operations leadership
• Promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence

What You Bring to the Team

We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or operations experience (1-6 months or more preferred)
• Equipment certification (tow motor or order picker), or willingness to obtain certification
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members and leadership
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

This is an active, hands-on role that requires:

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance
• Operating warehouse equipment and handling merchandise safely
