Project ManagerWe are seeking experienced Project Managers to support construction and facility engineering operations at the James J. Rowley Training Center (JJRTC), the primary training facility for the United States Secret Service in Laurel, Maryland.This role provides day-to-day project management support for assigned construction and facility-related projects under the direction of senior program leadership. The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the execution of individual construction and service projects, ensuring contract compliance, schedule adherence, and successful project delivery.This position is focused on hands-on project execution, field coordination, and technical support across all phases of construction and facility improvement efforts.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day project management support for assigned construction and facility engineering projectsSupport the COR and/or senior project leadership in the execution of contract requirementsCoordinate with Government stakeholders, contractors, subcontractors, and facility personnelReview construction schedules, design documents, drawings, and submittals for contract conformanceMonitor project progress to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirementsIdentify construction issues and field conditions; support development of practical solutionsAssist with preparation of Statements of Work (SOWs), cost estimates, and contract modificationsSupport acquisition activities including responding to contractor questions and participating in site visitsAttend and support contractor/Government meetings and project coordination sessionsDraft technical input for change orders and contract adjustmentsEnsure contractor deliverables meet contractual and technical requirementsSupport reporting, documentation, and project status updates for Government stakeholdersAssist with project closeout and turnover activitiesEducation, Experience, and Technical SkillsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of 10 years of project management experience in federal construction projectsExperience managing or supporting construction projects through planning, execution, and closeout phasesStrong knowledge of construction management principles, scheduling, and contract administrationExperience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and project teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to obtain and maintain required Government security clearance(s)Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Real ID or Passport in order to undergo commercial airfare travelMust have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's licensePreferred Education, Experience, and Technical SkillsPMP or other recognized project management certificationExperience supporting federal agencies such as DHS, DoD, or similar environmentsExperience working in active or secure facility environmentsFamiliarity with federal construction contracting processes and documentation standardsWorking EnvironmentThis position primarily operates in a professional office setting with standard office equipment and a quiet, climate-controlled environment. While in the office, there is no regular exposure to loud noise, hazardous materials, or heavy machinery.This role also requires periodic travel to project sites, including locations undergoing renovation or active construction. During site visits, the employee may be exposed to non-temperature-controlled environments, construction noise, dust, and other typical conditions found on job sites. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required during these visits, depending on site conditions. While on site visits, an individual in this role will be required to work atypical hours at the request of the client or role demands.Physical DemandsSitting/Standing: This is not a sedentary role. This role requires the ability to be on your feet moving around a construction site for most of the day interacting with contractors, contractor representatives, and inspecting the construction work that is being performed.Walking: This role requires the ability to move about outside in various geographic and building terrains to access a construction site to provide quality assurance services.Stooping/Kneeling/Crouching/Crawling: This role requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and ladder climbing to inspect all aspects of building construction to foundations, crawlspaces, and roofs.Using Hands/Fingers: This role constantly operates technological office equipment such as laptop, mouse, keyboard, computer monitors, telephones, and scanners, copiers, and fax machines.Talking/Hearing: This role requires constant communication with others in the organization to exchange information, review information, and make decisions about information.Seeing: This role requires the ability to see, view, and distinguish all aspects of construction to ensure quality control.Carrying/Lifting: This role requires lifting up to 30 lbs to transport technological office equipment, safety equipment, and other needed construction items to and from various workspaces.Equal Employment OpportunityAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Bodwé Group Companies engage in federal contracting.
