Registered Nurse - Freestanding ER

Role The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with medical providers and care team members. Responsibilities Assess and manage patient pain, perform procedures and document care accurately, respond promptly to patient needs, and educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle changes to promote self-management. Qualifications Must hold an RN license with at least 1 year of experience, an associate degree, and obtain required certifications such as Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Emergency Certification, NIH Stroke Scale, and Trauma Nursing Core Course within specified timeframes. Skills Compassionate patient advocacy, effective communication, ability to perform procedures, and a strong understanding of emergency nursing standards.
