Our Client is an industry-leading company that's leading the way in personalized cancer immunotherapy , transforming the battle against cancer through innovative biologics manufacturing and cutting-edge research. Their flagship product was the first FDA-approved immunotherapy for metastatic castrate-resistant prostate cancer, utilizing a patient's own immune cells to fight the disease — with manufacturing facilities, R&D operations, and a nationally deployed commercial team driving continuous innovation in cancer treatment.
In this role, you will be leading 5–10 active projects with full accountability for project success , coordinating and influencing cross-functional stakeholders to define scope, build schedules, and execute deliverables in a GMP manufacturing environment. You will present project updates to upper management, drive operational excellence initiatives, and champion a culture of continuous improvement and lean leadership across the organization.

  Responsibilities:

• Manage complex, enterprise-wide projects ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of project goals
• Lead cross-functional project teams to create integrated project plans including scope, schedule, risk, and communication plans
• Understand and translate requestor's strategies into actionable plans and drive projects to completion
• Issue written agendas in advance of meetings and ensure timely distribution of meeting minutes
• Follow up on action items between team meetings and ensure accountability of all team members
• Maintain SharePoint and other databases with current project status and key project information
• Develop and implement Operational Excellence project management best practices within a GMP environment
• Champion and advocate for a culture of continuous improvement and model lean leadership principles
• Identify risks and actively contribute to issue resolution
• Foster positive business relationships across all functional areas
• Interface with all levels of management and ensure alignment throughout the organization
• Effectively frame and present information to senior leadership
• Work with the Project Management Director, functional management, and governance teams to resolve project conflicts and issues
• Follow and advocate for established PMO processes
• Maintain a high level of expertise in project management and within the biotech/pharma industry

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree required
• 5–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech required
• 10+ years of project management experience preferred
• Strong ability to independently oversee project teams and manage projects with limited management assistance (feedback/direction needed only a few times per month)
• Strong knowledge of project management tools including schedules, communication plans, risk plans, resource plans, scope & change management tools, action item trackers, and project plans
• Proficient use of MS Project to create integrated timelines and monitor project progress
• Excellent facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution, and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to network across different functional areas
• Experience in cGMP, pharmaceutical R&D, and/or Manufacturing Operations is a plus
• Project Management Certification (PMP) is a plus
• Ability to lift 10–20 lbs and work in an office environment around laboratories and manufacturing areas
• Must be able to work with or around blood, blood products, or OPIM while donning required personal protective materials
