Maintenance Technician

Hours : Monday - Friday, 5:00am - 3:30pm
Rate : $28 per hour
Education : HS Diploma or equivalent, trade school, military, or specialized training
Experience : Manufacturing, industrial, service industry
Computer Skills : Outlook, Internet, Excel

Required Skills :

Mechanical : Repair mechanisms, bearings, rotating assemblies, chain drives, motors
Hydraulic : Repair hoses, pumps, cylinders
Fabrication : Design/make small parts, improve equipment/process
Welding : Ability to weld if necessary
Familiarity : Chiller systems, compressor systems, material conveyors, manufacturing equipment, chipper, and recycling grinders

Job Responsibilities :

Maintain manufacturing equipment
Conduct daily plant safety inspections
Perform and document PM servicing of all equipment
Identify and schedule repairs for mechanical problems
Maintain and expand spare parts and tools inventory
Collaborate with service techs
Maintain PM, maintenance requests, and service records

Additional Duties :

Paint equipment and perform drywall repairs
Clean and sweep plant floors
Help unload trailers in receiving
Weigh and store recycled plastic using a forklift/scale
