Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' specific needs and devise individualized therapeutic strategies to enable achievement of functional objectives
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply research-backed methods to improve patients' physical abilities, cognitive functions, and everyday activities
• Collaborate with Holistic Care Teams: Work in concert with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to deliver well-rounded, total care
• Guide Patients and Family Members: Provide education to patients and their families on effective therapy techniques to maintain progress beyond sessions
• Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor clinical outcomes and refine treatment approaches to ensure patient success and satisfaction

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Engagement in continuing education or further certifications is encouraged and supported

Licensure

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• Certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is essential
