Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse to join our team. The L&D RN will provide comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence are met.

Available shift: Days 7a-7p

Key responsibilities include:

Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery.
Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans.
Administer medications and manage pain relief options for laboring patients.
Assist in delivery and postpartum care, including stabilization of the newborn.
Maintain comprehensive patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications include:

Active Registered Nurse license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Fetal Monitoring certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, with postpartum and antepartum experience preferred.
Must have a permanent address more than 50 miles from the facility.

This position is for a temporary duration of 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and staffing needs.
