Experienced PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT - Internal Medicine Hospitalist (Nights 7p-7a) - Flower Mound, TX

Position Physician Assistant (PA) – licensed in Texas, Master's degree required. Preferred Qualifications Physician Assistant with at least 2 years of experience. Responsibilities Provide follow‑up and health maintenance care to patients in accordance with established protocols or instructions from the supervising physician. Initiate appropriate treatment and testing for illness evaluation based on training and experience. Provide counseling and instruction regarding health‑related issues. Document clinical care of the patient according to established guidelines. Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures as indicated by training and experience and directed by the supervising physician. Communicate with patients and family members within state law confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines regarding health‑related questions. Participate in continuous quality improvement process and other initiatives in the area of the employee’s practice. Demonstrate active listening, learning, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgment, and decision making. Requirements Licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain license in good standing at all times. Master's degree in Physician Assistant required. Will report to supervising physician and/or Medical Director. Responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.
