This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while maintaining a structured schedule. The standard workweek will run from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, accommodating the needs of both our clients and the team. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients to identify their specific emotional and psychological care needs.

• Provide individual and group counseling that addresses emotional challenges, loss, and other issues related to aging and transitions in life.

• Educate staff members and the families of clients on strategies to enhance emotional well-being, as well as improve the quality of life for seniors.

• Facilitate grief and loss counseling sessions for clients and their families coping with end-of-life challenges, providing them with tools to navigate their emotional journeys.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to design and implement tailored treatment plans, ensuring holistic care for each client.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress, adhering to ethical and legal standards in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on elderly individuals who are navigating complex life changes, including healthcare transitions, loss of loved ones, and age-related challenges. This specialization requires an understanding of the mental health issues specific to seniors, ensuring that interventions are culturally competent, empathetic, and supportive of their unique life experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.

• Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting, ideally with experience directed towards the elderly.

• License eligibility according to State requirements; current licensure is a plus.

• A valid driver’s license in good standing, to facilitate possible in-home consultations in the future.

• Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability to establish trust and rapport with clients and their families.

• Strong listening and empathy skills, combined with the ability to provide constructive guidance.

• High levels of attention to detail and organizational skills to effectively manage client records and treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges between $70,000 and $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a sign-on bonus for new hires.
