Step into an exciting contract role supporting students in the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist! Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure for the state required or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience providing speech and language services in a school or pediatric setting
- Strong knowledge of best practices and interventions for school-aged children
- Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct and consultative services to individuals and groups
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support students’ progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in accordance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide recommendations and strategies to support classroom success and social communication
