A maternity leave position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Sahuarita, AZ, serving a diverse caseload across elementary, K-8, and high school levels. This in-person role begins January and runs through June 2027. You’ll work at a single site (location to be determined) with approximately 50–60 students, allowing for focused, meaningful connections and impactful services.

Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
• Arizona licensure, or eligibility to obtain certification prior to the start date
• Experience working in school settings and with a varied age range preferred
• Ability to provide engaging, student-centered therapy tailored to individual needs
• Strong collaboration skills and openness to feedback—essential for a cohesive team environment
• Flexibility to adapt to school and team needs as they arise
• Commitment to delivering services in-person

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics for a caseload of 50–60 students
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy, supporting students’ IEPs and academic goals
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to maximize student growth
• Keep thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and regulatory guidelines
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as the speech/language services representative
• Incorporate feedback and best practices for continual professional growth
