P/T Program Aide - Gym Monitor

Job Opportunity

Position performs a variety of administrative and semi-skilled tasks for the Athletics/Aquatics, Recreation, Theatre and Senior Services Divisions.

Primary duties and responsibilities include working evenings, weekdays, and weekends, being available Monday through Sunday, and performing tasks such as online registration, opening/closing buildings for meetings, light custodial duties, assisting with programs and special events, working rentals, cleaning vehicles, and running errands.

Minimum qualifications include work experience with the public, customer service skills, knowledge with computers and administrative skills, and cash handling.

Physical demands require sitting, walking, talking, and hearing. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift objects up to 50 lbs. and sometimes more than 100 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work environment includes outside weather conditions and a noise level that is usually quiet in the office and moderately loud in the field.
