Veterinary Technician

Veterinary Technician Full-Time | Monday-Friday Compensation: $19-$22 per hour (based on experience) Are you a compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, CVT, or RVT) looking to join a collaborative team where your skills are valued and your career can grow? What You'll Do Assist veterinarians during appointments, examinations, treatments, and procedures. Prepare patients for surgery and monitor anesthesia throughout surgical procedures. Assist with patient recovery and post-operative care. Perform dental cleanings under the direction of a veterinarian. Obtain diagnostic samples including blood, urine, and other laboratory specimens. Perform in-house laboratory testing and assist with diagnostics. Take high-quality digital radiographs using proper positioning techniques. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian. Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and discharge instructions. Assist with emergency and urgent patient care when needed. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Prepare, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and treatment areas. Work collaboratively with veterinarians, assistants, client service representatives, and the entire hospital team to provide outstanding patient care. Qualifications Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential required. One or more years of veterinary technician experience preferred. Strong anesthesia monitoring and surgical nursing skills. Experience with laboratory procedures and diagnostic imaging. Excellent communication and client education skills. Ability to safely handle animals of varying sizes and temperaments. Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical thinking skills.
