Shift Manager

Responsibilities Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, friendly service. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during shifts to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness. Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, including planning each shift, monitoring performance during the shift, ensuring the team meets McDonald’s standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them to run a great shift. Shift Managers may also be responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and helping their assigned departments meet their goals. Key Duties Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Qualifications Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Candidates should be positive team players with a flexible schedule, a passion for working in a fast‑paced environment, and must be 18 years or older to serve as a manager at our corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.
