Accounts Receivable Specialist
\nLocation: Baltimore, MD
\nSchedule: Fully onsite, five days per week
\nEmployment Type: Contract
\nPay Rate: $30/hour
\nBenefits: This role is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401k.
\nRequirements
\n- \n
- 2+ years of accounts receivable experience \n
- Experience with invoicing, cash applications, and account reconciliation \n
- Strong collections and customer follow-up skills \n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software \n
- Ability to work onsite in Baltimore five days per week \n
- Available to begin a contract assignment promptly \n
Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Generate and distribute customer invoices \n
- Apply cash receipts, ACH payments, checks, and credit card payments \n
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts \n
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies \n
- Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate account balances \n
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding outstanding invoices \n
- Assist with month-end close and accounts receivable reporting \n
- Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation \n
- Partner with accounting and operations teams to resolve billing concerns \n
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully onsite environment.
