Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:


* Deliver coordinated nursing care to patients or assigned groups according to established standards.
* Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff while coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams.
* Utilize critical thinking and professional discretion to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
* Collect and analyze data pertinent to patients' health and develop strategic care plans.
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to create a safe and healing environment.
* Provide educational opportunities for patients, families, and team members regarding health information and treatment plans.
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and successful outcomes.
* Delegate and coordinate the duties of healthcare team members effectively.

Requirements:


* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice is required.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
* Critical care experience is preferred.
* Must have recent experience in an ICU setting and proficiency with EPIC.
