Pre-Litigation AttorneyDirect Counsel has partnered with a highly regarded boutique personal injury law firm to identify a Pre-Litigation Attorney to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee case managers, guide clients through the pre-litigation process, and play a pivotal role in achieving favorable outcomes for injured clients.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the pre-litigation department, including direct supervision, training, and mentorship of case managers.Investigate and evaluate personal injury claims, ensuring thorough case preparation and accurate documentation.Develop case strategies, negotiate settlements, and communicate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.Maintain consistent and compassionate client communication, guiding clients through the pre-litigation phase.Ensure compliance with firm procedures, deadlines, and ethical standards.Collaborate with senior attorneys to seamlessly transition cases into litigation when necessary.Qualifications:J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in California.1–4+ years of personal injury experience, with a strong focus on pre-litigation.Prior experience supervising or mentoring case managers or support staff preferred.Proven negotiation skills with a track record of favorable settlements.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage a high-volume caseload.Strong client service skills with the ability to build trust and rapport.Compensation & Benefits:Base salary: $120,000 – $180,000, commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits packageOpportunity for growth within a boutique, team-oriented environment
