Our client seeks a Commissions Specialist to join their team.
This is a temporary opportunity beginning August 17, 2026 through February 12, 2027. You will earn up to $22.75 per hour, depending on your experience. This position is on-site where you will work Monday-Friday, standard business hours.
To qualify for the Commissions Specialist position, you must have:
- Associates degree in Accounting or 3-5 years of related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables
- Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in financial services, insurance, or annuities is a plus
Your responsibilities as a Commissions Specialist will include:
- Retrieving carrier commission statements
- Calculating commission overrides and bonus payments
- Reconciling commission statements to the general ledger
- Researching and resolving discrepancies
- Responding to agent and wholesaler inquiries
- Preparing payment requests
- Maintaining accurate commission records
