Accounting Manager | DMV Construction Leader | Direct Path to Senior Leadership
\n \nLead the financial engine of a 30-year, family-owned industry leader in crushed stone, recycled concrete, sand, and gravel serving Suburban Maryland, Northern Virginia, DC, and Baltimore.
\n \nCompensation: $125,000 to $150,000, plus excellent benefits and a performance bonus
\n \nThe Role
\n- \n
- Lead a team of 4 and report directly to the owner (Temple Hills, MD) \n
- Own the monthly close, job costing, 13-week cash-flow forecasting, AR/AP, and audit and tax readiness \n
- Help evaluate and implement new job-cost software \n
You Bring
\n- \n
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance \n
- 7+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ in leadership \n
- Advanced Excel and QuickBooks or similar ERP \n
- Construction or heavy materials experience preferred \n
- A plus: unit cost accounting and ERP implementation experience \n
