Pay Range: $65,000-$75,000 JOB SUMMARY Responsible for performing the general accounting functions such as general ledger, A/P and A/R, bank and escrow account reconciliations, general ledger account reconciliations and the month-end and quarter-end accounting process. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assists the group with the preparation of daily and month-end adjusting entries Daily reconciliation of various bank accounts Perform financial statement preparation, distribution and variance analysis Assist with report writing and special projects Submits statutory and regulatory reports and assists with annual escheatment filing Helps with annual budget compilation Acts as the audit liaisonSpecial projects as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Public accounting experience, a plus Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills Advanced computer skills, such as proficiency in Microsoft Excel Previous experience with large ERP and general ledger systems Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong team player – able to help others in the group Attention to detail with superior data entry skills Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task Ability to work under pressure with compressed deadlines in a team environment Ability to work overtime as business demands require Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Advocus Title is an Equal Opportunity Employer that welcomes and encourages all applicants to apply regardless of age, race, sex, religion, color, national origin, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, marital or parental status, ancestry, citizenship status, pregnancy or other reason protected by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
