Senior Transaction Manager

Responsibilities Manage and execute complex lease transactions while fostering client relationships and driving business growth. Oversee regular reporting, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and memorandum documenting significant client issues and strategic planning. Lead as the primary Transaction Manager on accounts, collaborating and sharing workload with Analysts and other Transaction Managers. Direct special projects and assignments as requested. Work with professionals across disciplines and business units, recognizing opportunities to bring additional services to existing clients and assembling broader teams as needed. Demonstrate experience in managing complex projects to successful outcomes. Think strategically and act proactively to create strong client trust and confidence. Support the team in fostering the growth of junior talent. Assume key transaction responsibilities for strategic industrial occupier clients. Provide advice on client transactions. Lead regular client meetings and conference calls, including weekly transaction update meetings. Improve client transaction management processes. Work directly with clients and team members to resolve financial model, transaction, and landlord issues. Manage building tours with clients. Manage transaction reporting to clients. Independently manage and execute acquisition and disposition transactions of all sizes with high proficiency. Negotiate favorable economic and flexible lease terms for clients, documenting all agreements. Build customized reports, dashboards, and analytics for the account team. Assist clients in completing numerous transactions annually, ensuring adherence to JLL and client processes and standards. Actively monitor progress of assigned transactions and support resources as appropriate. Collect client requirements, obtain market data, review market reports, retain real‑estate broker partners nationally, oversee site selection and evaluation, create requests for proposals (RFPs), negotiate letters of intent, leases, purchase, and sale agreements, and prepare approval packages for senior management. Develop occupancy cost‑saving strategies, alternative occupancy solutions, and financial structures, refining existing transaction processes and procedures. Review commission invoices for accuracy, progress on payment, and review Dealio to ensure regular updates. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. 7–10 years of relevant work experience, with at least 4–8 years as a Transaction Manager in commercial real estate. Seasoned transaction management experience with proven skills in contract review and lease/purchase‑and‑sale negotiations. Experience working with corporate clients to achieve real‑estate objectives. Solid understanding of financial and accounting impacts. Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Excellent negotiating, analytical, communication, collaboration, organization/planning, and process skills. Strong ability to interpret and communicate business intelligence and data analytics. Outstanding client‑service skills. Coach and develop junior teammates to reach full potential, leading a diverse team.
