Payroll Analyst

Payroll AnalystWe are seeking a high-performing Payroll Service Delivery Analyst to support global payroll operations. In this dynamic environment, you will partner and collaborate with managers and team members to reach organizational objectives while applying proactive payroll solutions. The ability to build relationships, exercise good judgment, and work across multiple time zones in a global environment is critical in this role.Location: San Antonio, Texas (Hybrid)Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across different employment classificationsEnsure all payroll transactions are processed timely and accurately in accordance with regulationsProvide customer service to employees regarding compensation, taxes, timekeeping, and time-off requestsSupport management in improving payroll processes and educating teammates on policy executionPerform daily payroll operations, update payroll-related data, and manage overall workflowEnsure timely processing of new hires, promotions, and terminationsAnalyze and audit payroll data for posting accuracy, including intercompany transactionsPrepare and record journal entries related to payroll and benefits timely and accuratelyExecute time and attendance processing and interface with payroll applicationsProcess garnishment payments, employment verifications, and unemployment insurance requestsProcess required year-end reporting and tax forms for multiple regionsRequired QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Payroll Processor or in a similar payroll analyst role.Technical Skills: Strong PC knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, best payroll practices, and demonstrated ability utilizing payroll systems and tools.Preferred QualificationsAssociate's degree in accounting, Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC), or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now Payroll and Time & AttendanceWorking knowledge of ADP iHCM, as well as UK employment and tax lawExperience working in a global environment or with military personnelBasic human resources knowledge in recruiting, benefits, or employee relationsEverforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
