Industrial Maintenance Technician

Industrial Maintenance TechnicianSmith Industries is seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our fabrication operations. This role is critical to maintaining uptime across cranes, welding systems, and fabrication equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on fabrication equipment, overhead cranes, compressors, and facility systemsTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issuesRespond to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtimeMaintain work orders, inspections, and maintenance records (CMMS)Support equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvementsWhat We Are Looking ForExperience working on overhead cranes, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery (press brakes, CNC, rollers, etc.)Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systemsAbility to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsReliable, self-motivated, and able to work in a production-driven environmentRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends as neededAbility to work in a shop environment and wear required PPE
