Benefit Eligible Yes Screening Date 2026-03-01 Job Description Summary Assistant Lecturer/Assistant Teaching Professor in Emerging Technology in Business and Design is a full‑time on‑campus faculty position focused on teaching and service. This position will teach courses, including but not limited to digital marketing, web analytics, user experience, and senior project courses. Job Description Full‑time, on‑campus faculty position focused on teaching and service. Responsibilities include teaching courses (digital marketing, web analytics, user experience, senior project courses), developing curricula, providing service to the university, advising students, leading client‑based projects, and helping lead co‑curricular activities and student organizations. Candidates may also participate with the Center for Research in User Experience (CRUX) using technologies such as eye tracking, galvanic skin response, and facial expression analysis to understand user interactions with screen‑based stimuli and images. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about the effects of new technologies on marketing processes and be prepared to help students enter a rapidly changing, technology‑based industry. Responsibilities Teach courses (digital marketing, web analytics, user experience, senior project courses) Develop curricula Provide service to the university Advise students Lead client‑based projects Help lead co‑curricular activities and student organizations Participate in CRUX research using eye tracking, galvanic skin response, and facial emotion analysis Qualifications Terminal degree (e.g., M.F.A. or Ph.D.) in a related discipline by the date of appointment for appointment as Assistant Teaching Professor Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 or more years of tested experience in a related discipline by the date of appointment for appointment as Assistant Lecturer Record of quality teaching, industry experience, student advising, assistance in developing career‑ready portfolios, and university service may be considered Required Application Documents Cover letter, curriculum vitae, statement of teaching philosophy.
