You'll coach plumbers, electricians and home service owners who are turning over good money, working 60 hour weeks, and wondering why there's nothing in the bank. You'll help them build a business that runs without them, and hand them back their Saturdays.

What You'll Do

The coaching

• Run group coaching sessions with owners of trades businesses
• Facilitate 1:1 strategy sessions with these same owners
• Shift the mentality of the owners so the implement the hard work that'll get them the meaningful results
• Carry a caseload of members and own their results
• Stay close to your members between sessions in our community
• Contribute at our events in person with the members

The building

• Spot what's not working in our coaching and work with the team to fix it
• Help build the tools, frameworks and resources that get members results faster

Profitable Tradie coaches trade and home service business owners across USA, Canada, Australia & New Zealand. We've been doing it since 2008 and we've worked with 4271 businesses.

We're headquartered in Hamilton, New Zealand. The team is spread across 11 countries. This role is remote.

Our mission is simple: Helping the owners of trades businesses create a business and life they never knew was possible.

Who You Are

You've done at least one of these properly, not adjacently:

• Run a business with a team and P&L responsibility, and know the feeling of payroll being due
• Coached or consulted business owners, and can point at results you personally drove
• Led a team where you were accountable for the numbers, not just the tasks

And all of these are true:

• You can read a P&L and tell someone what's actually wrong inside ten minutes
• You can hold a room of twelve business owners and keep every one of them engaged
• You can tell someone something they don't want to hear and have them thank you for it
• You're a self directed learner. Nobody has to hand you the book
• You'd rather be useful than liked

This Probably Isn't For You If

• You need a manager to shape your week
• You've read the theory but never carried the risk
• You go quiet when a client pushes back
• Your best work happens after someone else has decided what to do

We'll say the same thing to you that we say to our members. Directly, and to your face. If that sounds refreshing, good. If it sounds exhausting, we're not the right fit and that's fine.
