Lead Data Entry Analyst

SUMMARY: Production Control Lead reports to the Production Control Supervisor and ultimately is responsible to the Director of Planning, Production Control and Liaison Engineering. The PC Lead performs assigned duties safely and ensures the accuracy of processed documents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises, coordinates, provides leadership to, and reviews the work of assigned staff. Assists the Supervisor of Production Control to establish work schedules to meet production schedules. Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding methods and procedures in Production Control and plans day‑to‑day departmental operations. Assigns people, authorizes overtime and controls costs by adopting cross‑utilization of staff to reduce headcount. Works with the Planning Department to report operational performance on each active aircraft and/or customer. Administers compensation policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Assists with administrative activities for effective management of the department, including employee development, pay administration, safety, counseling, motivation, goal setting and continuous control of activities. Implements a production control training program to raise training levels for all current and future Production Controllers. Performs other assignments as directed and maintains effective relationships within the department, the corporation and the community. Maintains professional competence, knowledge and skills necessary for satisfactory performance of all responsibilities. All other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises Lead Mechanics, Mechanics and hangar staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Handles training, planning, assigning and directing work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines employees; addresses complaints and resolves problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred background in aircraft maintenance or planning; 1–3 years in production control or related experience; in‑depth understanding of STAAR Maintenance tracking software; excellent oral and written communication; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility in an office setting. Candidates must adapt to a traditional business environment.
