Role Description The AVP – Business Broker / Mergers & Acquisition Advisor is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, with a mix of in‑office client meetings and some work‑from‑home flexibility. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include sourcing and qualifying prospective buyers and sellers, conducting business valuations and financial analyses, preparing marketing packages, and managing transaction pipelines. The role involves leading deal negotiations, coordinating due diligence, and collaborating with legal, financial, and operational stakeholders to move deals to closing. The AVP will maintain accurate records in CRM systems, manage multiple projects concurrently, and provide timely, clear communication to clients throughout each stage of the transaction. This position requires building strong relationships within the local business community and representing Transworld Atlanta South Metro professionally at networking events and industry functions. Qualifications Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess business performance. Solid understanding of finance and business analysis to support valuations, deal structures, and investment recommendations. Demonstrated project management abilities to coordinate multiple transactions, timelines, and stakeholders. Proven sales skills, including prospecting, relationship building, negotiation, and closing complex deals. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Experience in business brokerage, M&A advisory, commercial banking, consulting, or related professional services is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible terms. High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential client information. Comfort working in a hybrid environment, managing time independently, and using CRM and productivity tools effectively.
