Team members join a mission-driven environment dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care. Role Description The Medical Practice Manager is a full-time role based in Westerville, Ohio. This role oversees daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and coordination of front and back-office activities to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience. The Medical Practice Manager manages staff assignments, supports performance development, and helps maintain a positive and professional workplace culture. They work with outsourced HR, bookkeeping and payroll, in-house biller. They work in in alignment with our mission, vision, values and goals and support our organic growth. They work in collaboration with administrative and clinical teams and are cross trained in their roles. The role also includes maintaining compliance with regulatory and payer requirements, optimizing practice workflows, and supporting leadership with reporting, planning, and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications Experience in medical practice operations, including scheduling, patient registration, and workflow coordination. Knowledge of billing, insurance processes, and basic revenue cycle management in an outpatient or behavioral health setting. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and initiatives. Effective interpersonal and communication skills for working with patients, families, clinical staff, and external partners and referral sources. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR), practice management software, and common office productivity tools. Understanding of healthcare compliance and privacy standards (e.g., "HIPAA") and commitment to high ethical and professional standards. Leadership experience, including staff supervision, coaching, and conflict resolution. Prior experience in a psychiatric or mental health practice is preferred, as is background in nursing and/or healthcare administration.
