Sr. Human Resources Generalist At one of our global manufacturing and distribution facilities located in Byesville, OH, we are looking for an experienced HR professional to serve as a strategic partner to employee groups, lead talent acquisition, manage employee relations, and drive people initiatives aligned with our business strategy. What you'll do Act as a strategic business partner to all employee groups, creating and leading HR solutions. Provide support for new initiatives through communication, change management, and innovative ideas. Coach managers and supervisors on employee relations, difficult conversations, and process improvements. Execute advanced employee relations functions, including counsel and dispute resolution. Lead the talent acquisition and retention process to meet hiring and retention goals. Conduct workplace investigations and report findings. Report HR metrics and prepare presentations as required. Drive engagement and alignment initiatives for the facility. Maintain affirmative action programs and prepare annual EEO‑1 reports; maintain other compliance records. Promote positive employee relations across the workplace. Stay current on federal and state employment law and ensure organizational compliance. Assist in developing new policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives to meet business needs. What you'll bring Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field; or equivalent education and experience. 5 to 7 years of relevant HR experience. Flexibility to work early, off‑shift hours, and occasional overtime as needed. Experience recruiting both hourly and salaried employees. Preferred certifications: PHR, SPHR, or SHRM‑CP. Experience in a lean manufacturing, business‑system‑based environment. Experience with UKG technology is a plus. Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail, time‑management, and organization. High sense of urgency and responsiveness. Knowledge of EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, Workers’ Compensation, DOL, and related laws. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Problem‑solving ability and data‑driven decision making. Within 3 months, you'll Complete Atkore onboarding and immersion program to understand our culture, business system, and client groups. Grasp how your role impacts Atkore and aligns with strategic priorities. Begin delivering value gradually while gaining a general understanding of the Sr. HR Generalist role. Within 6 months, you'll Lead full‑cycle recruitment, onboarding, and immersion for supported groups. Build strong relationships with leadership and employees across your client group. Become a valued peer within the Atkore HR community. Perform daily and other responsibilities of a Sr. HR Generalist with minimal oversight. Within 12 months, you'll Establish a reputation as a reliable, indispensable HR member and top talent at Atkore. Serve as a trusted thought partner for all people‑related issues within client groups. Be sought after across the broader HR team for expertise, work quality, and reliability. Compensation As of the date of this posting, a good‑faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $75,040 – $103,180. Placement in the range depends on several factors including specific competencies, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skill level, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time.
