As a leading provider of hospitality services for the healthcare industry, we are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Orchard Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Towson, Maryland.
About the Role:
As a Cook at Live Well Healthcare Solutions, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of meals for our residents. Your duties will include accurately and efficiently cooking meals, preparing and portioning food products, and plating and garnishing dishes. You will also act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager in their absence, ensuring accurate meal prep and delivery.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Prepare and portion food products prior to cooking
Plate and garnish cooked items and prepare appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates
Act as liaison for the Dietary Manager in their absence
Follow and prepare standardized recipes
Clean the kitchen before and after food service
Clean all kitchen equipment before and after use
Manage inventory and purchasing
Rotate stock and develop recipes
Handle last-minute requests for special events
