Overview
Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist, traveling assignment in Templeton, California, United States. Start date: 10/12/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,918–$2,000 per week. - Perform basic and critical respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients per physician orders and department policies.
- Administer prescribed therapies (oxygen, airway clearance techniques, aerosolized medications, and ventilatory support as applicable) and monitor patient response.
- Operate and monitor respiratory equipment, including ventilators, humidifiers, and suctioning devices, following safety protocols.
- Document care in electronic medical records, complete flow sheets, and handle charges for each patient.
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff; communicate changes in patient status and plan of care; supervise others as delegated when applicable. Requirements
- Active respiratory therapist license valid in California (or as required by state regulations).
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred or eligible.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Demonstrated ability to provide respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients; hospital/clinical experience preferred.
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment. Benefits and Support
