Cleaner Position

We are looking for an experienced cleaner to feel a vital place in our staff. We hope to find a reliable and trained person who understands the importance of the cleaner/janitor role in an organization/building.

The person we would like to give this opportunity should have strong communication skills, be able to prioritize tasks, and have a proactive and reactive mindset. We like to keep our environment tidy and well-organized, we expect our future cleaner/janitor to take full responsibility to help us achieve this.

Responsibilities of a cleaner:

• Cleaning building floors (vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, sweeping)
• Collecting and emptying indoor trash
• Cleaning, servicing, and restocking bathrooms
• Cleaning windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Participating in building security and protection activities (door checks, appliance checks)
• Moving equipment, supplies, and furniture
• Informing managers about repair and maintenance activities required
• Maintaining the tools and equipment necessary for cleaning/janitor tasks
• Requiring supplies for the tools and equipment necessary for cleaning/janitor tasks
• Organizing and executing the fumigation of fumigants and insecticides

Cleaner/janitor job requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have proven work experience as a cleaner/janitor
• Must know and follow sanitation procedures
• Must be able to respond and act quickly
• Must have strong communication and multitasking skills
• Must have knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies
