Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a credentialed school psychologist supporting students and staff for a maternity leave assignment in a welcoming educational environment near Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This contract role is set up as a 60% itinerant position, offering coverage across campuses and an excellent balance between professional engagement and flexibility—equivalent to three full workdays per week with adjustable scheduling. Standard hours are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, and the assignment begins August 5th, continuing through at least October 30th, with possible extension until December 18th.

Your expertise in school psychology will ensure consistent, quality mental health, counseling, and evaluation services during a crucial period in the academic year. Step in to make an immediate positive impact while collaborating with faculty, families, and students.

Key qualifications:

• Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a school psychologist, with at least 2 years of continuous experience in a school environment
• Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational evaluations, crisis intervention, and providing consultation services to educational teams
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in an itinerant role across multiple sites

Role responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for educational planning
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Offer direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
• Consult with teachers and families to develop and implement student interventions
• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation

This position offers a competitive hourly compensation ranging from $47 to $57, depending on your experience.
